RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights

This refresher program supports compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (QLD) and relevant Codes of Practice, including the Managing the Risk of Falls at Workplaces Code of Practice 2021. It aligns with industry expectations for maintaining competency in high-risk work environments and meets the requirements of surface and underground coal mines, as well as metalliferous and quarrying operations

Current workers in operational roles within the resources and infrastructure industries who have previously completed RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights or RIIWHS204D Work safely at heights and are required to undertake refresher training to meet industry requirements.

RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights are required to be refreshed every 2 years from date of issue.

Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) are not available for this refresher training due to industry regulations.

Entry Requirements

  • Students must possess the necessary language, literacy, numeracy and digital (LLND) skills (ACSF Level 3) required to interpret and apply the relevant information effectively.
  • Students will be assessed to ensure they have the appropriate level of foundational skills necessary for the program.

Free off-street parking is available at 7 Brickworks Court, Glenella, 4740 located off Glenella Connection Road. Once you have secured a park the entrance to the rear of our building is locate between the blue and cream coloured buildings Follow the signage through to reception for check in.
