Permit Cluster Course 
MSMPER300, MSMPER200, MSMPER201, MSMPER202, MSMWHS201 

These clustered competency units address the need for personnel who issue and work under permit systems and are required to understand permit systems. You will gain an in depth understanding of permit systems, know the limitations of each permit, and make decisions regarding the need for and correct use of each permit. These competency units include the issue of any and all permits including heights, confined spaces, and hot work. It applies to the issuing, working under permits and in accordance with them covering a single plant or plant area that might be an operator’s scope of responsibility.

Included is the prerequisite unit MSMWHS201 Conduct hazard analysis. Which you must hold prior to being assessed in Issuing work permits.

These units aim to ensure that people working under a permit to work system understand the system, know the limitations of the permit under which they are working and comply with all the requirements of the permit. The people to whom these units apply to may be called 'permit recipients' or 'permit holders' by some organisations. Some organisations call 'permits' 'clearances'.

All students will be required to create or obtain their personal USI. Certificates cannot be issued without this number.

Venue/Parking:

Our office front is located at 12 Fursden Street, Glenella, 4740.

Please be advise if attending a course, you cannot park in Fursden Street.

Free off-street parking is available at 7 Brickworks Court, Glenella, 4740 located off Glenella Connection Road. Once you have secured a park the entrance to our building is locate between the blue and cream coloured building follow the signage through to reception for check in.
