This course aims to provide guidelines for a person to perform a safe rescue of a victim who has received an electric shock or personal injuries while working on low voltage conductors or equipment. These guidelines apply to rescue in normal work situations as well as in confined locations such as cable pits, substations and switchboards. This course describes principals based on a risk assessment of the work environment, the competence of the rescuer and the type of rescue equipment required. Supervision of training by qualified instructors is essential to achieve proficiency and, in accordance with Section 21, Electrical Safety Regulations, 2002. - Low Voltage Switchboard Rescue Refresher
